We face difficulties in all aspects of life, in business and everyday life, but it is how we deal with each situation that builds our strength and resilience. Difficult and negative situations build resilience, and although it can be a rather difficult trait to obtain, it will help you persevere during the most challenging of times.
Resilience and tenacity are two attributes that go hand-in-hand. To be tenacious is to have a ‘never give up’ attitude – a trait that will undoubtedly bring you success.
Take risks! If you want to achieve anything or get anywhere in life, you will most likely have to take risks. Although a daunting and scary task, taking risks is a necessary step to achieve success. I, for one, will always take calculated risks and I am thankful that most of the ones I have taken ended up with the best results. You will find that any great achiever in life has taken risks. If you are facing a decision which you are unsure about, I recommend seeking advice from a trusted and reliable source!
Surrounding yourself with people who support and believe in your vision. Whether it’s friends, family, colleagues or employees, it is so important that you are surrounded by people who truly trust and believe in you. It is only then that you will be able to accomplish all your dreams and goals. Authentic relationships are especially important during times when you feel challenged – you need people to reassure you and encourage you to keep going. It is truly amazing what you can achieve when you are surrounded by the right people. Be picky with those around you! Unfortunately, not everyone wants to see you succeed.
Being grateful attracts all the positive things in life, so celebrate your wins no matter how big or small and enjoy all the times you have succeeded! I find reflection to be powerful tool. I like to write in a journal to remind myself of all the amazing things in life I have been blessed with.
Inspiration can come to you when you least expect it, and those moments of pure creativity can be the start of something extraordinary. Ideas can be fleeting, so take action by writing it down and investigating whether it is worth pursuing.
